It
has not been long since I came to these realms, to meet with your gods
and mingle with them. They have taken me in as one of their own, and given
me the task of building your world a great library, amoung other tasks.
And so, I have been busy making plans and giving orders for the library to be built by mortal means. At the same time, I have been constructing the magical devices that make the library work, and running the presses (my own little pet project, thank you) that produce copies of the books that have been submitted. However, there are still few books, and I fear that the education of this world, which has been charged to me, is in danger of failing. To prevent this from happening, I am calling now for any resident of this world to write a volume (free of charge) that can be used in this effort. (OOC: Read help library and help book for how to submit a book.) Also, a group of librarians and educators to help promote education and use of the resources now becoming available, to chronicle the events of the world, to explore far off places and write of their adventures, seems now to be required. If any brave adventurer would like to step foward to lead such a group, these people would receive great favor with me. (OOC: I will, if at all possible, patron a clan- which can be a non-pk clan- that fits what I have described. I may allow such a clan to write free books for the public library, although they'd still be charged for clan library books.) -Califa |
