The farewell of Kormation
The wind howled in protest as Kormation climbed up the slope of the hills of Thanos. The stench of death was everywhere, and nothing could escape it. The wind howled around him as he hurried up the slope, lest he turn back and change his mind. It tried to push him back, whispering in his ears "go back while you still can." Yet he could not. He was resolute, determined to finish this one task.

The sky was dark, an epitome of depression. It seemed to suck everything. Hope, joy, ecstasy. Life. Above the centre hill of Thanos, was the hellespont to the underworld. Rocks scattered around the hellespont showed its earlier victims, or should they have been called something more fitting, after all, they had been liberated from their suffering. These skeletons looked to the sky as if they were the witnesses to their what was about to be their new companion's last rite of passage. Those soulless eyes could have said so much, if they had had the voice to speak them.

There was no sun here. No lightno life. Nothing should exist. Even the very idea of how a place existed was a phenomenon for what it stood for. A mystery of the realm. Kormation knew what life was and what was death. He was leaving and old existence for a new one. And Thanos was the place for it.

The sky weeped as Kormation peered over the edge, and he too wept with it. This was the end of all he had ever been on the realm. But it had to be done. He'd seen the lines of life and knew his were up. Time to leave.

Slowly, the human looking golem removed his equipment and stared over the edge. Quietly he whispered the last words anything would ever hear from him.

"There's a time for life, and a time to die, upon which we may choose A time to fight, a time to love, both we may either win or loose Whatever comes or whatever goes, close or whether apart Do what you feel is what you want, what is in your heart"

With that Kormation dived towards the hellespont, and at that point, the sorrow seemed to become less weighed down. Things were sudden brightened, and the clouds vanished. With that a single ray of light shone straight down, into the hellspont, and straight through Kormation's body, causing him to explode inwards, so quickly it was a seemingly painless death.

His ash floated into the now calm waters, and sunk into the depths of the sea. He was finished now and forever, and that was the end.
