Frazzle.

He creeps through the darkness, following his pray from afar. His eyes
used to t he darkness and hunting the evil it hides. All of his senses
flood as he moves in closer, his breathing slows. The snow is falling,
covering tracks and coating trees. The moon shines down with silver beauty,
his prey is in sprinting range now.
Without a sound the daggers fly, the magic is cast. The prey is dead. He leans in to bite, and to feed. Like a thief he steals the moment and it is his. A momentary bliss. The forest goes into a blur, up is down. Frazzle grows weak in the knees and falls to the ground. When he wakes the sun blinds him, no longer in the forest. No longer in his world, frazzle walks to hartland in a daze. A man is no longer in his shell of comfort when so far away from home. He's nothing now but a crab without his shell. |
