Marhic makes his way through the hallowed halls of the once powerful Boundary Wardens Clan Hall. It seems like only yesterday that they were fighting off heart hounds, miswrith and other more powerful beasts that come from behind the veil.

But, with the fall of the Boundary the Wardens have found themselves with little to defend. The citizens of the Realms have found themselves in the midst of a war between those that follow Richard Rahl from D'Hara and those that follow Emperor Jagang.

The Wardens with little to nothing to guard, namely the Boundaries; have slowly began feeling the call of the desire for freedom to travel the Realms and make what they will of their lives. Thus, slowly but surely the Wardens had dwindled down to the last remaining members ... Marhic and Verissa the once proud leaders. With saddened hearts they made the decision that it was time to bring the Wardens to an end.

Marhic and Verissa saying their last farewells, went their own seperate ways to meet whatever fate has in store for them.

Will the lives of the Wardens entertwine once again under some other group fighting for the good of the Realms? That is a question that only time can answer.
