The leaders of The Guild have gathered today with the best scholars, generals, diplomats, and wizards of their ranks. It has been decided that the vampire Yagris poses a real threat to the realm. We have set about informing the leadership of all cityguards in the realm, as well as inhabitants of the forests and outer towns, of this threat.

The threat is expected to be in form of an army of vampires, perhaps led by Yagris himself. We are trying to determine by what means he will enter the realm. It will take an enormous magical power to transport his whole army by portal, our wizards tell us. He/They may enter the realm through the rift, of which I am sure you are all aware. Another possibility is that his vampires may enter the realm slowly, passing themselves off as regular citizens of the realm.

We suggest that if there are vampires within your ranks or your cities, you begin to catalog their vital information. Be on the lookout for any vampires not matching the description of those known to you in the past, for it was only this evening that Yagris made his threat.

Our men are guarding several key locations which will not be disclosed. We suggest that your bravest do the same. We do not know when to expect his attack, but we believe it will be soon. Be prepared, for this will be a battle for the freedom of the world as we know it.
