Rhyder Part 1
A light rain began to fall over the region of heartland. Shops began to close, and the hustle and bustle of the market died down. While the inhabitants of Heartland, headed inside, seeking warmth and shelter, a figure draped in dark colors walked the eastern road. Rivulets of rain beaded of his cloak running down it like a waterfall. Apparently the cold and dampness did not bother the traveler.

The figure trod on seaming oblivious to the conditions. Entering the east city gates, he walked steadly by the gate guards, never removing his hat nor looking up to acknowledge the authority figures. They found it odd but did not stop to question him.

Walking steadly through town, never gazing up nor, showing any sign of being lost the mysterious travler carried on. Aproaching market square the traveler slowed to a halt. Bending down he pulls up a loose cobble stone from thea darkend corner of the street.

Reaching his gloved hand down into the crevice he removes a piece of parchment. Unfolding it his dark eyes quickly scan the surface. Obviously affected by what he had just read the young mans hold on the paper becomes a grip, that could easilly snap the average mans neck. He slowly walks over to a blasing scone, where he deposits the crumpled letter, eagerly consumed by the fire.

Whispered softly under his breath could be heard the words, "vengence will be mine." With that the mysterious traveler disspears in the glommy cold night.
