*A Letter to Azurite: Decissions*
I have sat with quill in hand nights unending, and still the words do not come easily, or at all for that matter. I'm afraid this letter will lack the eloquence you may have come to expect from my pennings, but write I must for I know your heart must be as troubled and shrouded as mine. I have left my brothers and sisters in arms. For what I do not really know myself. I knew I could not let you go, and I knew I could not continue to endanger my former comrades by remaining with them. To attempt to do so with Jagang even more watchful of you would invite disaster and treachery upon the First File. You know this I am sure, for it is most likely the same reason you left me quitely with nothing more than the whisper of a kiss. I left a note in your favorite swing, and I had hoped you would find it perhaps on one last visit to a place where there is no Jagang or Richard. You may truely never see me again, but then again I have watched your skill grow these last few weeks. Perhaps in time you will find yourself noticing small signs of my passing for I will be there ever watchful. Jagang may yet hold you, but it is I who shall protect you... Even from yourself should that need arise. We are a long lived race, though our lineage may differ. It is my hope that our longevity will be to our advantage, and that perhaps in time you will be rid of those ties that bind you. Rid your heart of any guilt for I know why you do what you do. You are fighting by giving in. I see your guile as you do Jagang's will, and yet you aim his wroth at those probably deserving of it. Perhaps we can meet sometime, though I do not expect it to be soon. Just know that I will be around, and if you find yourself waking and finding not the source of your unrest and yet feeling comforted, that it is just me stealing a kiss while you slumber and not under the thumb of Jagang. Continue to fight my dear, for in that battle lies your salvation. Know that if you should ever lose that battle, that I will be there to bring mercy upon your mindless body, for the woman Azurite will already be gone. Respond at your convenience. Touch the locket I gave you so long ago to your letter, toss it into the air, and it will find its way to me. It works for me as well, and that is why this letter has appeared seemingly out of thin air. Magic is not so evil a tool. Be well my Azurite.

With love,
