Rang'Carta
Long ago, during the war between both the new and old worlds, Alric Rahl was a worried leader of D'Hara. His people, through his web, were protected from the magical dreamwalkers. His warriors were some of the most elite ever assembled. But still, D'Hara feared that the tide could turn very quickly. He was powerful , but could not stand up to the other side alone.

To this end, he created the Rang'Carta to protect the knowledge he and his ancestors had gathered over the years. He knew that if the New World or even both sides were destroyed in some cataclysm, that many irreplaceable things woul d be destroyed along with it, namely scrolls, books, trades and language.

Rahl gathered many scholars, wizards, and other wise people, and set them to the task. He decreed that there should be no bias as to what the Rang'Carta protected and stored, or who they let in. Speaking of which, he encouraged them to seek new members and to apprentice them.

The Rang'Carta survives today, but only a shadow of what it was in the past. Fierce attacks from gars, heart hounds, and other vicious creatures have decreased their numbers exponentially. They are now few, but with the fall of the boundaries and the taming of the gars, are looking to rebuild their former greatness.

To the outside they are neutral, but on the inside they are as varied as they come. Through all of this diversity, their purpose is clear: protect the writte n word, yet make it available to all. They also serve as a meeting ground for clans, warring or peaceful.

Come join the cause...and return us to greatness.

OOC: The Rang'Carta accepts members of all races, all classes, and all aligns. Rang'Carta has no clan objectives for player killing, though members need not be non-pk. We encourage diversity and if you can bring new knowledge to the clan, you will be valued. Rang'Carta has the job of mediating between clans, and you will be expected to role play for this. Also, you must do a fair amount of rp with other clans, and dealing with customers to the library. You must have a fair deal of knowledge about the Realm, even if it is in a focused area, such as level 35-50 equipment, mobs, quests, and areas. A good grasp of the English language is also required for writing the books. Once you join our clan, you join our sacred sect, outcasts will be highly disapproved of unless in special circumstances. An ability to get along with characters of opposite race and class is also required, as we are very diversified.

Keeping those requirements in mind, you must also meet these material requirements:

-Level 25 or higher
-Orb of Elements
-Eternal Flame
-D'haran Knapsack
